Tell me about your family. I just celebrated 25 years of marriage with my wife Kim. Kim is a Kindergarten teacher at Bethesda Christian School. We have two wonderful girls. Our oldest just graduated from Texas A&M and our youngest is currently a student at A&M. What do you like to do in your spare time? Kim and I are very committed to our local church – Fellowship of the Parks.  Kim teaches the Kindergarten ministry and I am her “helper” in that class.  I also enjoy spending time outside training for half marathons, gardening, hunting and fishing. What is your big vacation dream? I would like to take my wife to New England for a fall foliage trip.  We will do that after she retires from teaching. What is your favorite movie? Probably the toss-up between Back to the Future and Shawshank Redemption.  Back to the Future because it is fun and I could have traded places with Michael J. Fox (back in the day).  Shawshank because it is such a thriller and I notice something new in that movie every time I watch it. What did you want to be when you grew up? I am still growing up but back in the day, I wanted to be a sportscaster.  Come on over to the office and let’s talk Aggie football! Who are your heroes? My heroes are my mom & dad.  My dad was a leader in the space program in Houston for 40 years and I grew up in a stunning environment.  My mom overcame a lot to be a wonderful mom and role model! What are some big moments you like to tell people about? I love to tell people about the 3 space shuttle launches I witnessed because of my dad’s role with the space program.  Indescribable is the word I would use to describe seeing a Shuttle launch live! What three words would colleagues use to describe you? Genuine, Trustworthy and Caring.  If you made me add a fourth, I imagine they might say talkative!
